CT Women Are At a Disadvantage According to Gender Gap Study

What is the gender gap situation in Connecticut?

According to a new study, it's not good. Wallet Hub set out to find the states with the best women's rights and the Nutmeg State was #23 overall. WH examined the following factors:

Connecticut's worst numbers were in the Executive Positions Gap where we were one of the worst states in the nation, ranking a dismal #47. Our neighbors in New York found themselves on the brighter side of the study, ranking #8 overall and tied for 1st for the smallest Educational Attainment Gap. The best state for women's rights is Hawaii and the worst is Utah.

It's tough for me to form any opinion on the matter because I'm a man and I've worked in the same building in Brookfield for nearly 25 years. This is all I've ever known so there isn't anything to compare it to.
