‘Unbelievably creamy’ ice cream from Dauphin County scoop shop: Best Eats

The former Dairyland Ice Cream in Middletown opened this season under a new name, Jak Frost Frozen Desserts.

Jon and Katie Alger took over in spring 2022 and are scooping Hershey’s hand-dipped and soft-serve ice cream, blended ice cream and milkshakes. The menu also features shaved ice, floats and Frost swirls.
